Great Bunny Outfits For Adults
If you are looking for a costume to don for Halloween that can be cute, fun, furry and sexy all at the same time, then look no farther than an adult bunny suit. There are some celebrated bunny rabbits in various books, television programmes and in the movies. Do you have a favorite rabbit? Mine is Peter Rabbit. Other loved rabbits are Bugs Bunny and Brer Rabbit. Rabbits have often been used in advertising to flog various products as for example the Energizer Bunny and the Duracell Bunny, both used to flog batteries.
There are so many types of bunny suits to choose from and below you will find a few pointers to start you off. Let's start with my favorite kind of bunny costumes: the sexy variety! Two costume ideas come to mind, the first being that femme fatale, Jessica Rabbit and, of course, the most celebrated sexy bunnies, the Playboy Bunnies. Did you know that the character of Jessica Rabbit was really based on Lauren Bacall, Rita Hayworth and Veronica Lake? In the movie, her voice is that of Kathleen Turner. Do you like dresses slit up to the thigh? Then you'll like Jessica rabbits tight long red dress. It's set off by her high heeled shoes and long gloves. If you are not a natural redhead then a long wavy redhead wig will finish this sensational look. The Playboy bunny girl outfit isn't difficult to copy. To appear like the original bunny girl, you could use a black bathing suit, or a merry widow corset, collar with a bow tie, cuffs, black mesh pantyhose, and a pair of black high heeled shoes.
Or would you prefer a bunny costume that's more fun? What about a traditional furry bunny? They're usually all in one suits that have big rabbit ears. I'm a big fan of friends and it was great fun to see Chandler dressed in a big pink and white bunny suit at a Halloween party in one episode. The easiest thing is to procure an already made bunny suit as they look so cute and realistic, but if you are trying to save the bucks then you could make your own from scratch. With a bit of imagination and know-how you could transform a white sweat suit into a bunny costume by adding a white pom pom to your rear, a pair of bunny ears and white gloves and shoes.
